Her many books include George Washington Slept Here, Iwo Jima, and As Seen on TV, all published by Harvard. Marling presides over the "Mobility and Placelessness in the Great Depression" section of the 1996 Organization of American Historians Annual Meeting. Marling contributed to a recent PBS program entitled "The Man Who Drew Bug-Eyed Monsters," on movie poster illustrator Reynold Brown.
