I acquire books in economics, sociology, political science, and law. Although my interests are eclectic, my focus is on the problems and discontents of capitalism: inequality, market and price instability, and limitations to growth, including resource depletion, climate change, and environmental pollution. I am also interested in the fragile relations of capitalism and democracy.
