Norman H. Nie (1943–2015) was Research Professor of Political Science and Director of the Stanford Institute for the Quantitative Study of Society. He was one of the developers of the popular software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).
Sidney Verba (1932–2019) was Carl H. Pforzheimer University Professor, Emeritus, and Research Professor of Government at Harvard University.
John R. Petrocik is Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Missouri.
